India eagerly awaits Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil

Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil, Keralite Catholic priest who was recently rescued from the captivity of Yemen terrorists, is expected to reach India on 28^th September, 2017. The nation is eagerly looking forward to welcome the priest with joy and has prepared the schedule for the day as per his convenience. Fr. Tom is expected to depart from Rome at 8:45 pm and will reach India at 7:40 am, in Delhi and will be taking rest at Don Bosco Provincial House, Okla.

At 11:30 pm, the priest is expected to meet Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Kuriakose Bharanikulangara. 4:30 pm is the time arranged for the priest to meet the press at CBCI Head Quarters and at 6:30 pm, Fr. Tom will be celebrating Thanksgiving Mass at SH Cathedral, Delhi. At 8:00 pm, the priest will be back to Don Bosco Provincial House for rest. The next day (29^th September) at 5:45 am, Fr. Tom will depart to Bangalore, reaching there by 8:35 am, after which, at 12:00 pm, he is expected to meet Cardinals and Bishops at St. John’s Medical College and at 5:30 pm, there will be a public thanksgiving service and meeting in Good Shepherd Auditorium, Museum road. On 30^th September, gathering with Salesians is arranged after which, there will be a thanksgiving Mass in Don Bosco Provincial in Bangalore and at 3:00 pm, a press meet is also arranged in DB Provincial House.

On 1^st October, 2017, the priest is expected to travel to Kochi at 6:05 am, reaching there by 7:10 am, and a press meet is arranged at 11:00 am and at 5:30 pm a thanksgiving Mass and Meeting at Ramapuram, Fr. Tom’s hometown, is arranged. On 2^nd October, the priest is expected to leave for Don Bosco Vaduthala and on 3^rd October to Trivandrum, where he is scheduled to have a public reception and meeting at Mar Ivanios Hall participated by Sr. Pinarayi Vijayan, CM of Kerala, His Eminence Cardinal Cleemis , Fr. Joyce Thonikuzhiyil SDB(Provincial) and other dignitaries. On 4^th October, there will be a thanksgiving Mass at Thope and thanksgiving service at Don Bosco Bhavan, Mannuthy, after which he is expected to return to DB Provincial, Bangalore and on 5^th October, at 5:00 pm, Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil will be celebrating a thanksgiving Mass at Don Bosco KGF, after which he will return to DB Provincial House.
