Fiat Mission, a Catholic lay association for evangelization, is set to hold the third Great Gathering of Mission (GGM) Congress 2019, a platform for the mission activities in India. To realize the goals the organizers have envisaged five components—Mission Exhibition, Mission Convention, Mission Gatherings, Mission retreat and Mission Harvest. The Exhibition will be held from May 1-5, 2019, at Christnagar, Angamaly.

As reported by mattersindia.com, Ceetly George, managing director of Fiat Mission remarked that “The main objective of GGM is (to provide) an opportunity to share the surplus resources available with the Church in Kerala which could effectively be utilized for evangelization of India and the world. It will be an opportunity for the established Church in Kerala to familiarize with the mission work in India, which in turn will enable it to rediscover the charism of Christ.”

His Grace Bishop Mar Raphel Thattil of Shamshabad Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy is the chairman of GGM and His Excellency Bishop Chacko Thottumarickal SVD of Indore, Madhya Pradesh and His Excellency Bishop Jacob Mar Barnabas of Gurgaon Diocese are vice chairmen.
