Kochi: The KCBC has donated a sum of one crore and three hundred thousand rupees (Rs. 1,03,50,000) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Kovid prevention activities from various dioceses and ascetics of the Catholic Church in Kerala. This is in addition to cooperating financially and otherwise in co-ordinating counterinsurgency activities led by district and local governments.
KCBC Deputy Secretary General Fr. Varghese Vallikattu said in a statement. Earlier, the KCBC leadership had informed the chief minister that all hospitals under the Catholic Church were ready to give up the anti-COVID activities.
