His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Amato, Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, who serves as the Prefect of the Congregation for the causes of saints, conveyed that the martyrdom of Blessed Rani Maria not only brings happiness to Udainagar, Indore, but it also brings joy to all the Catholic Churches. His Lordship Cardinal Amato said this while addressing the faithful gathered at St. Paul Higher Secondary  School Ground for the beatification ceremony of Sr. Rani Maria, who is now declared as ‘Blessed’.

His Lordship Cardinal Angelo Amato reflected on the beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew and related it to the life of Blessed Rani Maria and remarked that “Blessed Rani Maria always thirsted and hungered for justice and thus her death was truly a massacre.” Further, His Eminence added, “She always tried to keep herself in a perfect emotional balance and this clearly shows her maturity and now Blessed Rani Maria exhorts us to place charity and love in place of hatred as she always did in her life.”

His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Amato highlighted the determination of this heroic missionary who was always ready to give her life for Jesus Christ and she did it through her deeds and sacrifices. His Lordship Cardinal termed Blessed Rani Maria as a protagonist who died for justice, who went beyond religions and many boundaries to help the poor and the downtrodden. His Excellency Abraham Viruthukulangara translated this English message of His Eminence Cardinal Amato in Hindi language.
