Archdiocese of Bhopal has established a Crisis Intervention centre named  ‘Jeevandayani’, to counsel the people showing tendencies to commit suicide and to help people who are facing depression in their life. It has been observed that due to emotional imbalances children, youth and adults fall into depression and thus a team of psychologists and counselors formed by the Archdiocese of Bhopal have started visiting schools, hospitals and private sector offices to create awareness among different walks of people to make use of the service provided by Bhopal Archdiocese.

As reported by ucanindia.in, PRO of Archdiocese of Bhopal, Maria Stephen emphasized that “We can’t deny the fact that education is the basic foundation of people and nation’s development and we welcome the Supreme Court’s guidelines on Right to Education and got included in the fundamental rights and this initiative should be appreciated, I wish the government forms new guidelines for internet to save the young.”

There are nine dioceses in Madhya Pradesh namely Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Khandwa, Jhabua, Satna, Gwalior, Sagar and Jabalpur and there are four or five districts under each diocese to coordinate social, economic, religious and educational programs to enhance the life and moral standard of the citizens of the State.
