Kottayam: Archbishop Kuriakose Kunnassery Foundation with transparent masks to protect the smiles of those who are speech impaired. When deaf and mute people speak with gestures and facial expressions, wearing a normal mask will impede communication. As a solution, the Foundation has decided to distribute transparent masks designed by Bishop Kuriakose Kunnassery Foundation trustee and retired principal of BCM College Ramani,  for  all schools for the deaf and dumb in Kerala.

Archbishop Mar Mathew Moolakkattu will inaugurate the distribution of 10,000 transparent masks built by the Foundation at the Archbishops’ House in Kottayam on Saturday. The inauguration will be presided over by Justice Cyriac Joseph. Foundation Managing Trustee Thomas Chazhikadan MP, Trustees Mons Joseph MLA, Former Ambassador TP. Srinivasan, Chevalier Joy Joseph Kodianthara and Savio Kunnassery will be present.
