Kochi: The central government should immediately withdraw the law as it is a violation of the Right to Life Act, which has allowed the infant to be brutally killed before just 3 months. The Syro-Malabar Synodal Commission for the Life said.

The Commission considered that the current law of the law is aimed at accelerating the devastation caused by the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act of 1971, which has resulted in the killing of many unborn babies while the aim of the laws is human welfare. The Commission has asked the Center to clarify what progress is being made by the killing of innocent children who are unable to respond on their own.

The meeting was chaired by Episcopal Chairman Mar Joseph Kallarangat, Mar Jose Pulikal, Chairman, Pro-Life Apostolate and Fr. Antony Moolail, Pro-Life Apostolate Secretary Sabu Jose and Mathrubhumi Secretary Rosalie Paul participated.
