Vatican City: Pope Francis has signed a decree to add the Roman calendar to the feast of Saint Faustina on October 5. It was decided to include the feast of Saint Faustina’s spiritual influence on tens of thousands of people around the world and the request of many, including clergy, saints, and laymen. It is interesting to note that the announcement was made on the centenary of the birth of Saint John Paul II, who was keen on propagating the piety of God. Although Faustina is commemorated on the eve of Easter, the feast day of the Divine Mercy, and the funeral day of October 5, St. Faustina is not officially announced. It’s finally over.
