Sao Paulo: The Brazilian Capuchin monk, a Brazilian monk who has touched the hearts of Christians around the world. Roberto Maria de Magalhayas was called to eternal life. His funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He was 99 years old. His various portraits of a survivor of old age and of volunteering for his ministry were popular. Despite not having a Facebook account of his own, many videos and images of the clergyman made waves on social media.

As he entered the Sacred Heart Church in Fortaleza last year, Fr. Roberto Maria’s video has touched many people. Despite his age, he kept sacrificing every day and visiting the hospitals. Much Catholic media have published images of the clergyman putting his hand on the head of a policeman during a 2017 hospital visit. The six-kilometer atonement organized by the Diocese of Fortaleza in 2016 was heard by a group of believers throughout the region. Roberto and Maria had accompanied them. The pictures went viral on social media.

In 1992, Fr. Roberto Angola went to Africa for missionary work. He served there for about a year. In a 2009 survey, Brazil’s most beloved Capuchin priest was chosen by Fr. Roberto was Maria de Magalhaes. In March 2019, after completing 80 years of asceticism, the Maracana City Council announced that Fr. Roberto Maria was especially honored.
