Kochi: The KCBC has said that all the rules and regulations stipulated by the government must be strictly adhered to. The statement is in the backdrop of the opening of various places of worship under the Catholic Church. Meanwhile, some dioceses have decided to close down the shrines even though the concessions are available. KCBC said the church’s stand is that the church should not be opened in cases where it cannot be guaranteed security. When the temples are opened and the worship is conducted, it is necessary to stop the rituals if they are aware of the possibility of the virus spreading. The dioceses can behave this way wisely. This approach has been adopted in all dioceses of the Catholic Church.
