Vatican City: People in Romania fasted yesterday praying for a release from the coronavirus. According to a circular issued on March 6 by Cardinal Angelo the Donatis, Vicar of the Roman Catholic Diocese, the Pope has prayed specifically for the fasting of believers and other movements in Rome today to free Italy and the rest of the world from coronavirus. Yesterday, Cardinal Donatis, representing Pope Francis, offered the Divine Sacrifice at the famous Marion Pilgrimage on the outskirts of the city at 7:00 pm.

In the Vatican, the Pope and the clergy, monks and believers of various denominations participated in the fast. At the same time, the sprawling squares, gardens, courtyards, and visitors’ sanctuaries, which are generally populated and noisy, continue to flourish in Rome. The public offering of Holy Communion until April 3 has been temporarily waived. This is in line with the government’s proposal to abolish public partnerships.
