Poznan: President of the Polish Bishops’ Council and president of the Poznan Archdiocese, Stanisസ്aw Gadecki, has made a statement that the response to the coronal epidemic is more sacred and that the church cannot be shut down in fear of coronation. The Metropolitan said in its statement that increasing the number of Holy Communion would prevent a large gathering of believers, thereby complying with the instructions of the Sanitary Department.

Just as hospitals cure body ailments, so too do temples perform many services, including healing the soul. Therefore, Catholics in Poland cannot think about not being able to pray in church. The Metropolitan pointed out that he agreed to the chief sanitary inspector’s proposal to avoid large convergences and to increase the number of Sunday Mass in the shrines, thereby reducing the number of believers gathered at the same time.

The Metropolitan described the list of the various Polish television channels broadcasting the Divine Sacrifice in view of the special situation where the elderly and the sick can sit at home and watch the Holy Mass broadcast on television. There is no law that prostrates among the Holy Communion and wishing peace to one another. The Metropolitan’s statement ends with a prayer for those who have died of coronavirus, coroners, doctors who fight the disease, and those who work in the medical field. Currently, there are only 22 coronal cases reported in Poland.
