Pope Francis penned the preface for a book titled ‘Church in the Digital’, which is edited by Fabio Bolzetta and published by Tau Editrice. The experiences of the Association of the Italian Catholic Webmasters led to the creation of this book.

In the preface, the Pope highlights on the points that the pandemic made Eucharistic celebrations in public impossible. He also adds that the efforts by many kept the community relationships alive through use of technologies and social networks. The book offers tools, and proposals to discuss, reflect and share on social networks the experiences of the Catholic Church which is also present in the digital world.

The Association of the Italian Catholic Webmasters has helped the priests to keep communities united through the use of technology. This was also appreciated by the Pope in the preface.
