Astana: Bishop Athanasius Schneider, the founder of the Astana diocese of Kazakhstan, has asserted that since the true God wants all people of the world to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, no other religion other than Christianity is a faith. No other religion apart from Christianity can promise eternal life.
“Christianity is the only religion according to God. Therefore, it is not possible to associate Christianity with other religions. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14: 6).
No other religion, apart from Christianity, can impart a real and supernatural ‘eternal life’. Because “the eternal life is to know Him who is the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17: 3). ‘Becoming God’s children’ is a great gift. This can only be achieved through faith in Christ and baptism. Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, no one can enter the kingdom of God.
