Katuna: The news of Nigerian Christians being left without justice continues as the news about George Floyd, a black man murdered in the United States, is filled with the media. Nine Christians were killed in a horrific attack in the city of Kaduna, Nigeria, on Tuesday, following an attack by Islamic militants. Nine Christians, including three children and two women, were killed in an early morning attack on Aguwala near Tudon Watan Doka in Kajuru district.

The brutal attack was carried out by Fulani Herdsman, a militant Islamist tribal group. At 5:30 am on Wednesday, June 3, Fulani militants entered the village and committed a brutal homicide with knives and other weapons. The images of the mutilated bodies of the victims of the brutal attack are turning into tears on social media.

One of the local authorities in Aguila told the Nigerian media, the Daily Trust, that most of the victims were severely wounded and some were in critical condition. The Nigerian Organization for the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law has released the report of 620 Christians killed in the last five months following attacks by Islamic extremists.

Earlier this year, Christian Solidarity International, a Christian organization, called on the United Nations Security Council to intervene in the massacre in Nigeria. But even the international media is silent on the genocide in Nigeria. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has come to the scene condemning the Christian genocide, but there are many who argue that he is using the armed Fulani militants to Islamize Nigeria. The horrific persecution of Nigerian Christians continues to be horrific as the world discusses the rising protests for black people in the United States.
