U.S Together, a non- profit mutual assistant agency founded as a response to the needs of refugees and immigrants in central Ohio, along with a Toledo Catholic parish are partnering together to create a camp for the first time this year, for women and children refugees, providing them with education and opportunities for effective networking and also to enlighten them with information about American culture.

As reported by Catholic News Agency, Corinne Dehabey fromU.S Together remarked that “The purpose of this camp is to educate women and children, to empower women to develop physical and language skills, and to provide cultural education and assimilation to their new country.”

The camp also aims at empowering the immigrants to learn about all of the education, cultural, and sports activities available in their new community and also to pull out the scared young minds  from their shell to develop better personalities.
