Cherthala: Vettakkal church under the pilgrimage of Thankappally has given a sum of Rs 501 each to the Hindu brothers who are suffering from diseases and lockdown. The families were assisted by members of the Chapel Committee led by Fr. Lijesh Kaliparambil.
As a relief to those who are unable to work, the Vettakkal church has recently handed out a kit containing 145 grams of rice and food to the families of 145 families. The chapel committee and KCYM youth led the charity.
