Cameroon: Catholic bishops have revealed that Christians in Cameroon villages bordering Nigeria have never been attacked by Islamic extremists. Bruno Adeba, bishop of Marua-Mokolo in northern Cameroon, said this while speaking to the Pontifical NGO, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN). He said there were 13 attacks by Islamic extremists in the last two weeks alone in his own archdiocese. He added that Boko Haram’s attacks in Cameroon have alarmed locals since the beginning of 2020.

Boko Haram is a great destructive beast of the end of the world, as stated in the book of Revelation. Like a ‘hydra’, which cuts off one head and another spins its head. This terror has appeared in North Cameroon when Boko Haram was thought to be over. Bishop Bruno said he suspects Boko Haram was behind a fire at a shrine in Cameroon on the eve of Dinah. He added that they were investigating the matter and that, according to available information, there was a possibility of a terrorist attack.

He also recalled that the Boko Haram faction linked to the Islamic State and West African Provinces was behind various attacks on Christians, including the attack on the lives of 11 Nigerians on Christmas Day. There have been reports that Boko Haram, which is facing a recession in Nigeria, has now shifted its operations to Cameroon and Chad. The rise of terrorist attacks in Cameroon and the revelation of Bishop Bruno corroborate this news.
