Lahore: Displaying the wrongs of discrimination and atrocities over Christians in Pakistan, a Pakistani woman named Naseeb Nawab has approached the media. She revealed the level of tortures and attacks on Christians in an interview to the NGO, Aid to the Church in Need. The woman is a nurse in a private hospital, by profession. Earlier, in the month of August, she witnessed a Christian nursing student named Mishal being humiliated by two Muslim women. Nawab reacted to the situation and since then, has to undergo many atrocities and scrutiny. In her statement, she also reveals that she was left alive only because of the mercy of another nurse who was on duty that day. She further continued to say that even after multiple complaints lodged, neither the hospital officials nor the police department took any strict actions on the case. She expressed her concerns over how unsafe Pakistan is for Christian and on the increasing rate of forceful religious conversions in the country.
Nawab said that she is extremely anxious about the state of Christian children in the country. Even in the middle of such a brutal crisis, the Christians hold steadfast for their faith in the country. Nawab concluded that she looks up to the Bible application on her cellular device and recites Psalms 23:121 when she feels scared of the surroundings. The country ranks fifth in the list of countries that offer grave disaster on Christians on account of their minority.
