Maramon: Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan wants to see the image of God in others. He was speaking at the inauguration of the 125th Maramon Convention. God created men in His image. It also provided a beautiful universe to inhabit. God created the earth, nature, and water for man’s gift. But the Metropolitan pointed out that man, with his greed for wealth, distorted and polluted nature, the earth and the water.

The water in rivers like the Pampa river is cleaner than the bottled water available in the market. He said that the disturbance of the river and nature meant that even the air needed to be bought to breathe. The approach of destroying anything in the name of development is not right. The manner in which those who disagree with their views are called traitors and deported and deported is not an affront to the rulers.
