Vatican City: Cardinal Gerard Mueller, former head of the Congregation for the Congregation of Holy Communion, said that the Holy Communion is the only true worship and that the bishops have no authority to forbid public sacrifice. In an interview with the Daily Compass, Cardinal Mueller noted that Jesus came to earth to receive the human body and that we believe in the resurrection of the body.

The coronavirus has been a catastrophe for many. Therefore, the church has a duty to tell people how to deal with life’s sufferings in the light of faith. It cancels the mission by canceling the general sacrificial offering. This gives the church control over the governments. This is not acceptable. Cardinal Gerard Mueller explained.

There is nothing wrong with taking precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus. But canceling the Holy Communion is a serious matter. He also shared the idea that secular thought had grasped the Church. The church’s spirituality does not have to be under governments. Cardinal Mueller, who severely criticized progressivism and disbelief among the clergy, described the term “progressivism” as destructive.

Some have said that the priesthood should be given to married people in order to make the Eucharist available to all in the Amazon Synod. Mueller points out that it is the same people who made the suggestion that the Holy Eucharist should be canceled without shame. In his interview, he criticized the Protestant view of medicine as a cure for ailments. Cardinal Mueller said that medicine is not a substitute for prayer. Cardinal Mueller, who served as head of the Congregation for the Year 2012-2017, is currently the Cardinal Deacon in charge of the Church of St. Agnes in Agon, Rome.
