DODOM: Tanzanian President has called for a three-day prayer against the spread of coronavirus. John Magufuli, President of the African nation of Tanzania, has been urging people to pray separately from April 17-19. At the behest of the president, people held special prayer services. He called on Twitter to find time to pray to God these days. John Magufuli is a devout Catholic.

He stated last month that the coronavirus does not exist in the body of Jesus Christ and that temples are places where true healing can take place. A total of 94 cases of COVID cases have been registered in the country. Four of them died. 11 were completely recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, schools, colleges, and universities have been shut down to prevent the spread of the virus, but the country has not implemented a complete lockdown.
