Thiruvananthapuram: Constitution day is celebrated on Sunday, January 26, at the Catholic Church in Kerala. As part of this, Archbishop Suspakyam will read the preamble to the Constitution and take oaths after the seven o’clock feast at the Trivandrum-Palayam Cathedral. KRLCC, the coordinating body of the Latin Catholic Church in Kerala, has called for the observance of January 26 as Republic Day. Under the direction of KRLCC, various other organizations will conduct constitutional protection and awareness programs at parish level on that day.
