MILAN – Cyber Apostle Carlo’s mother is preparing to witness the rare moment where her son will be declared blessed.Carlo’s Mother, Antonio Salsano expressed hope in an interview with Vatican News that the life-style of Carlo Accutis, who will be elevated to the rank of blessed on October 10, will help many to find Christ and the sacraments. Parents rarely have the opportunity to witness the privileged status of their children. Carlo’s mother, Antonio Salsano, is preparing for the occasion. Salsano recalled that her son’s spirituality was based on the Holy Mass.
Carlo would say that the Holy Cross is his way to heaven. He was at the forefront of computer knowledge. He was well versed in algorithms and programming codes. Carlo read books that were used in universities to increase knowledge. Carlo created a website of the wonders of the Eucharist using the skills and intelligence he had received because of his love for Christ. It is hoped that his life example will help many to find Christ and the sacraments, the mother says.
Carlo Accutis was born in 1991 in a family of Italian roots living in London. At an early age, Carlo set up the largest online collection of Eucharistic wonders in the world. Started at the age of 11, the venture gained international attention. At an early age, Carlo suffered from leukemia. He dedicated his sufferings to the Pope and the Church. In 2006, at the age of 15, Carlo Acutis was called to the eternal rest.
