REILLY, Italy: Anastasia Christian Maliza, 60, an African-born nun who lived in Italy for more than a quarter of a century, has died. Tanzanian native Sister Anastasia passed away following the corona illness. She has been in the Santa Lucia nursing home in Reilly for the past one month. Corona caught up with the elderly at a Santa Lucia nursing home with many elderly coroners.

The day after Corona was confirmed, she was taken to the San Camillo de Lellis Hospital in Reilly and was shifted to the ICU following a deteriorating health condition. Sister said goodbye to the world last Saturday after a month-long battle. Residents lovingly called Sister Anastasia, a member of the Poor Claire church, “Sister Anna.” Sister Anastasia, who came to Italy from Tanzania at the age of 30, has been in Italy for 26 years.
