LONDON: The elder brother of the head of the Syro-Malabar Diocese of Great Britain, Mar Joseph Srampikal, has passed away. Mathews M. Scrambical had been ill for some time and was being treated. He was pronounced dead at Mar Sleeva Hospital, Pala, Cherpunkal. He is survived by wife Philomena and children, Chinu, Chinz, Chinchu. The diocese of Great Britain has announced that it is mourning for the death of His excellency’s brother.
