Mangalore: The Mangalore Rosario Cathedral has provided shelter to over 400 guest workers who were stranded on the road, at the Kovid 19 Lock Down. Under the auspices of the Bishop of Mangalore and the Rector of the Cathedral, accommodation was provided to the cathedral for guest workers. When the government informed the church leadership about the stray guest workers who were trapped on the road, the church extended their arms and embraced them. Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, has visited the workers and inquired about the amenities. The church leadership has arranged everything for them including freshwater.
