The Diocese of Kalyan along with the Universal Church is celebrating the Extraordinary Month of Mission by means of Extraordinary activities to be undertaken each day. Today, the 24th day of the month of Mission is dedicated to incessant prayers for all the priests and religious, who have dedicated their lives for service in socially backward areas.
Building a stand at a completely strange place, winning the hearts of the locals, and urging them to spin the change is a very daunting task. And the priests and religious of the universal Church, especially, those of our Diocese have wholeheartedly accepted to work out this task for the growth of the nation as a whole. Remembering them, let us pray for all the missionaries serving millions of people in this world. In situations like insanitation, poor living standards, uncivilized community, hostile environment; these noble human beings have sacrificed their comfort to lend a helping hand to those who do not acknowledge their service. Let us intercede to Most Virgin Mother Mary for their acceptance into their mission areas, ease of service, and accomplishment of their mission. Let us dedicate the day to pray for all the missionaries, priests, religious and laity missionaries for their selfless services rendered for the upliftment and social welfare of the country.
