LONDON: A Christian organization called Christian Action Research and Education (CARE) has appealed to the state to protect the value of life following the Conservative Party’s victory in Britain’s parliamentary elections. The Boris Johnson-led government came to power with an excellent majority. During the election campaign, the Labor Party and the Liberal Party announced that they would enact legislation that would allow for greater use of feticide. The Catholic Church, Anglican Church, and various Christian organizations have been vocal in their opposition.

The Care Organization said it would like to see the government use its authority to save lives in the event of an election. Another requirement of the organization is to restore the province’s right to repeal the recently enacted pro-feticide law in Northern Ireland. Career called on the government to safeguard religious freedom and freedom of expression. The ‘Care’ also called for the withdrawal of financial aid to foreign countries for women’s feticide.
