London: The bishops in England and Wales have expressed dissatisfaction over the government’s decision to shut down UK churches in the wake of the coronary epidemic. In a statement issued on May 11, the Bishop said the dissatisfaction with the government’s decision to close down the shrines had been announced. The church pointed out that the temples had already opened in other countries and stressed that the government should take a stand in accordance with the detailed plan.

The Catholic Church, which has fully complied with the government’s directives and participated in the fight against the epidemic, has submitted to the government a detailed plan for the opening of mosques for private prayers in accordance with the guidelines of the Public Health Department. The third phase of the government’s lock-down concession scheme includes churches, cosmetic establishments, pubs, and movie theaters.

The bishops have been getting a lot of calls for the need to open the church for public worship while keeping the social distance. Catholics have released a video calling for the opening of temples. It attracted much attention to the new media. According to the John Hopkins Corona Center, the UK has the highest number of corona deaths in the world, behind the United States.
