The Catholic Congress conveyed that they will help and cooperate with the government of Kerala to rebuild and regain the state from its present status after the unprecedented flood. The Catholic Congress highlighted that they will prioritize farmers and help them reconstruct their lives hit by the flood. The powerful committee has  also decided to help the needy ones by helping 100 families to get land to build their houses and also to guide the construction of 1000 houses. The committee has also decided to help 1000 farmers’ families.

The decisions were taken in a meeting that was held at Mount St. Thomas, Kakkanad, inaugurated by His Grace Bishop Legate Mar Remigiose Inchananiyi under the guidance of President Biju Parayanilam.
