BOCHINIA: The Polish clergyman who served as a missionary in Kazakhstan, Fr. Piotr Dido Rozniacki worked in the early morning hours of Kazakhstan and arrived in Poland to renew his visa. But he was unable to return because the Polish authorities had closed the border to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. When the people needed him early in the morning, he asked God why he had blocked Poland.

Today this clergyman agrees, it was God’s plan. Fr. Piotr could understand. Upon hearing of the need for volunteers for a reception at a psychiatric hospital in the nearby village of Bochinia, where many corona patients were sick, he went there and started the service. He took the mission at a time when no one was willing to take responsibility for the coronavirus of 14 employees and 16 inmates. During this crisis, Fr. Piotr could help.

Rev. Fr. Piotr, who has been serving here since April 11th, said that it was a little difficult at first because he didn’t know the patients. Because of the high incidence of disease in the hospital, they take all safety precautions, Fr. Peter added. There are eight Dominican nuns and two nursing students in the hospital to help Peter.
