Kannur: The natives of Rajasthan have safely left for their homeland, all thanks to a Franciscan priest and his friends who selflessly helped the helpless during this time of crisis. The corona lockdown period was a time when all the Marwadis of Rajasthan came to Kannur for a statue trade with Vishu. The Capuchin Social and Developmental Action Service Society has taken care of them at the request of the district administration in times of uncertainty.

Fr. Sunny Thottappally, Wilson, Robin Vadakkumthala, and Arun Alex volunteered their services day and night. The Capuchin community has been holding them together, providing food, medicine, safety, and courage to 34 people in various tents. They returned yesterday to their native land.
