Sao Paulo: Brazilian President Jair Bolznaro has criticized the health department’s decision to treat feticide as an “essential service” during the Corona era. He was responding to the news following the dissemination of the order, including social media. He made it clear that the order was issued without his knowledge. He and his Brazilian government made the official statement on Twitter on Wednesday, June 3rd.

The unspoken decree of Minister of Health Eduardo Passello has become widespread. Eduardo said President Bolsonaro was “strongly opposed to the feticide”. The Parliamentary Committee for the Living and Families condemned the order in a strong tone.

The committee members expressed confidence that the order would be canceled soon. The Ministry of Health told the Catholic News Agency that the order, issued without any consultation, had no legal validity. The ministry said it had already taken appropriate action against drafting the draft without complying with official procedures.
