Pala: The Feast of St. Alphonsa begins today at the St. Alphonsa Pilgrimage Center. Pathanamthitta Bishop Samuel Mar Irenaeus will hoist the flag at 10.45 am today. Although public participation in Festal rituals is avoided, there is an opportunity to visit Alphonsa’s grave following security measures. One can abide by the social distancing norms through the barricades and approach the gravesite to pray.
