Brother Austin Shaji (24), a second-year Philosophy student of the Aluva Karmalgiri Pontifical Seminary, died at Periyar. The body was taken to the Aluva Taluk Hospital mortuary where police found the body. After the post mortem, he will be taken to Mavelikkara. The funeral will be held at the Perumbuzha (Mavelikkara) parish in Kollam diocese. Shaji Augustine is the only son of the couple.
