Melbourne: The Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison has declared to seek the divine intervention of the Almighty God in this adverse crisis of COVID 19. His online prayer video first appeared on a Christian portal called, Eternity News. He stated that his faith has played a great role in maintaining the sanity during this adversity, and that he is offering the safety and future of the country into God’s mighty hands. He recounted the journey of the Israelites in the old testaments and expressed his wish to follow the footsteps of Moses himself, who led and prayed for his people. He urged everyone to pray for the coronavirus affected people around the world, in his video.
He also offered prayers for those who have lost their means of living. the 6 minutes long video begins with his advice on how to reinstate hope and how to derive strength from the faith in God. In the video, he also included parts of the scripture, from the books of Psalms and Isaiah. He asked his citizens to pray for all the national leaders of countries suffering heavily from the pandemic outbreak.
