Persecutions against Christians in the country are increasing day by day and amid this conflicts, on 8th January, 2018, during Konniyoor school annual day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, a group of 10 people from the crowd came up and created a fear-filled atmosphere. The perpetrators were sure enough to find the school P.T.A members from the gathering to beat them up and also destroyed the chairs of the audience. The frightened parents fleeing with their children from the venue can be clearly seen in the school CCTV visuals.

The group showed up the second time with more people to make a dangerous atmosphere again on the same day. When the headmistress Ceceline of the school tried to push away the perpetrators, they took away the headscarf of the sister and threw it away, in the midst of the conflict.

The conflict left Ajeesh, a 5th standard student’s hand fractured, who revealed that he was pushed down by the anti-socialists. Kattakada police have begun the investigation to find out the culprits. The incident left Konniyoor in shock.
