Holy Father Pope Francis, while addressing the faithful gathered at St. Peter’s Square, Vatican, for general audience meet, conveyed to ignore gloomy people that drag others down and also highlighted the need to maintain a healthy dose of the joy experienced through Jesus Christ. His Holiness stressed to avoid unhappy comments and discouragement in life by upholding good hope that each Christian has received from the Lord Almighty.

As reported by Vatican Radio, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “Do not listen to deluded and unhappy people; don’t listen to those who cynically recommend not to cultivate hope in life.” Further, His Holiness added, “Let us not entrust ourselves to those who extinguish every enthusiasm saying that no business is worth the sacrifice of an entire life and don’t listen to the elderly heart who suffocate youthful euphoria.”

His Holiness concluded the message by reminding the faithful to be strong and to always walk in the path of which leads to the sacred fire that Jesus Christ has lit once and for all.
