Chalakkudy: Bishop Mar Pauly Kannukkadan says that no government or authority has the right to decide birth and death, and that depriving human life is an evil against human life. He was speaking at the inauguration of a life saving march and dharna in the town by the joint presence of Marian Prolife Movement and Chalakkudy Forana parish against the laws on killing infants.
This draconian law is not conforming to Arsha Bharat. The bishop said social inequality would be increased and that the wild rule should be proclaimed and that it would be raised against the politics of the party. Hundreds of people from different parts of the diocese joined the march. The march ended at South Junction. Bishop Mar Poli of Karnataka inaugurated the function.
