Paris: French Christian group members have been released from Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. French President Emmanuel Macron has reportedly released four people, including three Iraqi nationals and three members of the French-based Christians of the Middle East. It is noteworthy that the detainees were released shortly after the announcement that they were withdrawing their troops from Iraq following the Kovid 19 outbreak.

On January 20, the militants kidnapped a group of volunteers who were working to rebuild Iraq. After the Islamic State militants took over Mosul in 2014, the organization has been working for Christians who have been the victims of Islamic State violence. Christianity of the Middle East was active in the Kurdish capital city of Irbil.

Members of the missing organization arrived in Baghdad for visa renewal and other registration procedures. He was missing from here. The French president said he would like to thank the Iraqi regime that worked hard for its release. It is unclear whether the kidnappers were terrorists. Christianity of the Middle East is also present in Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon.
