SIGNIS in association with Sadbhawna Communication organized a Journalism and Writing skills training for the youngsters at the PRO office of Sadbhawna Communication from 10th to 12th May 2019. Christian youth and the Media Person of the Jhabua Diocese took part in the three days training Programme. Mr Sanjay Jain, District Bureau Chief of Lok Swami Newspaper was the chief guest of the inaugural session of the Programme. He shared his expertise and insights regarding the Journalism and motivated the participants to become a well-equipped journalist in future.

Rev Fr Pratap Bariya (Dean of Jhabua Deanry) and Mr Raju Damor, Freelance Photojournalist were among the other dignitaries who were present in the Programme. While Fr Pratap welcomed the youngsters and the media person to write for Catholic Magazine Samanvay, Mr Raju reminded the youngsters that a piece of news or an article should be always associated with an appropriate photograph. Rev.Fr Rockey (Director of Sadbhawna Communication) and Prof.  Sumit  Dhanraj  (Freelance Writer and Journalist) undertook the various sessions of the Training Programme. The sessions of the training programme covered the subjects like dynamics of drafting news reports, story composition, article write up and letter to the auditor.

The Print Journalism training ended on a high note where the participants were filled with enthusiasm to contribute their stories and articles for the church magazine.
