Budapest: The Hungarian bishop’s committee financed the free access of hospital services to Syria’s poor in the face of severe hardship. The Catholic Bishops’ Committee of Hungary has funded a trillion euros for the implementation of the Syrian Open Hospital project, which began in 2016. The fundraising effort was organized by the Hungarian Bishops Committee in collaboration with Caritas Syria and the AVSI Foundation Agency. The Apostolic Representative of Syria thanked the Hungarian Bishops’ Council.

In a letter to the Syrian Apostolic Nuncio Cardinal Mario Senari, the Hungarian bishop said that it was comforting to see the courageous and courageous people following the example of Veronica, Svemian, and the Good Samaritan.

Cardinal Senari’s letter reminds us that many of the casualties and deaths have been caused by the bloody war in Syria over the past 9 years. The letter indicates that the long lines of refugee camps are not over yet, and that bombings in the north-west are an everlasting occurrence. The Hungarian bishop has raised $ 23 billion for the Syrian Open Hospital project.

Currently, two hospitals in Damascus and one hospital in Aleppo are receiving assistance under this project. Nearly 30,000 patients have already received free care as part of the Syrian Open Hospital project. Hungary is a stronghold of the Christian faith. The state government is also leading a movement centered on Christian morality. The Hungarian government has already handed over billions of rupees in aid to the persecuted Christians in West Asia.
