Fr. Jose Puthussery bags the best short film screenplay award for his creation- David and Goliath, in the competition conducted by the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy. The theme of the competition was based on the problems and sufferings faced by malayali people living in different parts of the world, during the lockdown period.

Minister A.K.Balan and the judging panel member Kamal, film director, informed that ten screenplays were chosen as the best ones among the 737 screenplays received in the competition. Fr. Jose Puthussery, who won 50,000 for his screenplay, is a member of Ernakulam Angamaly Archdiocese and he is pursuing higher education in Australia.
