Ramapuram, Palai: The Feast of Blessed Augustine (Kunjachan) Thevaraparambil has begun on a grand note at St. Augustine’s Forane Church, Ramapuram, Pala. The day began with the first Holy Qurbana and Homily at 5:15 am by Rev. Fr. Johny Edakara, Director Snehadeepam Velloor. The second mass began at 6:30 am and was celebrated by Mar Joseph Pallikyaparambil, Bishop Emeritus, Diocese of Pala. The 8:00 am was celebrated by Very Rev. Dr. George Varghese Njarakunnel, Vicar- St. Augustine’s Forane Church, Ramapuram. Following the third Holy Qurbana, the agape was blessed.
At 10:00 am, solemnised Holy Qurbana was celebrated by Mar Mathew Vaniyakizhakel V S, Bishop Emeritus, Diocese of Satna. The Homily was administered by Rev. Fr. Abraham Neeruvelil, Rector- Vincentian Seminary, Chethimattom.

At 12:00, the procession would begin from the Forane Church. Following the same, three Holy Qurbanas would take place at 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm by Rev. Fr. Francis Edathinal (Asst. Vicar, Ramapuram Forane Church), Rev. Fr. Mathew Thevarkunnel (Vicar, St. Sebastian’s Church, Kondadu), Rev. Fr. Joseph Alencheril (Asst. Vicar, Ramapuram Forane Church)

From yesterdays Rosary Procession

The agape is prepared by the parishioners. And the fellowship has begun since morning. Faithful from far and wide are visiting the tomb of Bl. Kunjachan Thevaraparambil to seek the intercession of the blessed.
