Thiruvananthapuram: doctors have stated that the medical condition of Latin Archbishop and KCBC President Dr. M Soosa Pakiam has observed rapid improvement over the days. The hospital officials have revealed that the archbishop has been removed from the life support system and has the capability to eat food manually. They also mentioned that Dr. Pakiam is well enough to sit and converse without any aid.

Though, his health has improved doctors have advised visitors do not enter the premises open to a chance of relapse of the infection. He is still kept under observation in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Latin archbishop was rushed into the hospital following an irritable infection, on his way back from Rome on October 2nd, where he was attending the Ad Limina meet of Latin bishops with the  Pope.
