The Young Ministry Department of  Cheongju  Diocese in South Korea will train young Catholics in the country to become Young Missionaries through the one-year long Cheongju Youth Missionary Training(CYMT) program which will begin this month. The main aim of the training is to prepare the young Catholics to submit themselves to the Lord and understand the true meaning of being a missionary for Lord Almighty by living the Gospel and spreading the message to others.

As reported by ucanews.com, Fr. David Yang Yung-seong, youth ministry director of the diocese, asserted that “We will try to raise these youth’s awareness as missionaries and help them to share their faith with their neighbors.”

The training includes the teachings of the church on missionary works, meeting with missionaries and also exposure to local and overseas missionary activities.
