His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry, Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, while addressing the faithful in a meeting of the directors of Catholic students union in Catholic colleges under Syro-Malabar Church, conveyed that the teachers and staffs in colleges should be able to develop and nourish spirituality in students. His Lordship Cardinal Alencherry also reminded that the students should be prepared to face all the challenges of the present digital world, in order to build themselves up in spirituality.

As reported by syromalabarchurch.in, His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry remarked that “As a part of this new digital world, the possibilities of students getting into dangerous situations are much higher and thus lessons of spirituality may help them to protect themselves from such situations.” Further, His Lordship added, “Encourage love, friendship, and good cooperation among the students and the Catholic union in colleges have a significant role to play in this matter.”

Fr. Abraham Pallivathukkal, Dr. Thomas Panakalam, Rev. Dr. George Madathiparambil, Dr. Chackochan Njavallil, Dr. Jyothis Thomas, presided over the meeting.
