Eleanor Roosevelt, the longest-serving First Lady of America once quoted “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” In this world of limitations and impossibilities, Mrs. Deena Prince is marking an inspiration to the world by believing in her dreams and her heartfelt passion, Cycling. At the age of 21, Deena got married to Prince George and she remembered that Cycling was not her passion in the beginning but was absolutely a way to reduce her weight post pregnancy. She reflected that her heartthrob husband Prince George is the one who motivated her to the habit of cycling and it was only after her marriage that she realized, she could try participating in various prominent cycling competitions.

The unsurpassable encouragement from her husband and family prompted her to go forward and participate in various high-level competitions like Cycleindia, Duathlons, the significant cycling competitions and has won many prestigious awards for the same. In the Competition of Cycleindia, Deena could successfully complete 1823Kms in 31days imprinting her unstoppable spark in Cycling. Deena won the award for the Best Woman Performer in a cycling event which was held in May, 2017.She has a group of active cycling friends with whom she cycles every morning especially on the aurora of Sundays, and the group is named as “Peddle Power”, in which Deena is an active lady cyclist. Deena Prince won a gold medal in the female category, in full Duathlons competition, which was held on 24th September, 2017.

Besides being a successful Cyclist, she does fulfill her responsibilities and duties of an obedient daughter-in-law, a perfect wife, a wonderful mother for her 4yrs old daughter Kenisha Prince, and also the responsible Critical Care Coordinator in Cardinal Gracias hospital, Vasai, by managing her time ideally.

Deena Prince believes that “To be a perfect cyclist all you need to have is a dedicated mind, hard work and the ability to face all tough challenges in life because being a woman cyclist, the world will not encourage anyone in the beginning but it is the withstanding ability that stimulates a person to keep going.” Deena commented on the Carbon Fast initiative by Kalyan Media Cell and encouraged that “It is necessary to reduce the emission of Carbon-di-oxide in the environment to make it a wonderful place to live in and also to feel the nature much closer.”

Mrs. Deena Prince is definitely a motivation for the youth of today to pedal off their saddle. The young lady cyclist once again reminds to “Chase your dreams and never let anything limit you from pursuing your passion!”
