COLUMBIA – South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster on Sunday, May 3, celebrated a state-wide prayer day in the wake of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic. The governor made the announcement of the state-wide prayer day in a press conference convened on Friday.

“Thank God for bringing the lives of South Carolinians to life.” Governor McMaster said. He further said that he would like to console those who have lost loved ones, those who will be lost, and their friends and family. In a tweet from the governor, that read “This is a tribute to those who have lost loved ones and to those who are fighting against Corona.” Prayer Day has already been celebrated in various states of America in the context of Covid.
